4thSA's Open Mic Section
A place for anyone and everyone to host their recorded creative works, be it poetry, short stories, songs, despicably unhealthy cake recipes, a lengthy essay on the subject of slugs... whatever you have. Either display your work to the masses (I'm assuming (hoping) we'll have masses of visitors to the website at some point) or else use the space for the purpose of free advertising of your own websites and works, (or ideally do both)
This section is still under development at the moment. Soon there should be an accompanying Facebook page and YouTube channel, details to follow.
Our criteria for submissions as they stand are below:
* Audio works only if you please
* Please record any submissions in MP3 or Wav format.
* Please include a short bio, as well as any links to your works/website (if applicable) that you’d like to include.
* Common-sense rules of decency apply, anything deemed to be racist, sexist, homophobic or generally offensive shall not be hosted. Swearing is ok, so long as it serves a purpose and is not excessive.
* Ultimately the decision as to whether or not we’ll host a submission rests with the 4thSA staff. If we are required to refuse a submission, we shall explain to the submitter exactly why.
* 4thSA makes no claim to anything we host, and we will not display YouTube ads on any submissions nor monetise them in any way, this is basically just a free online pin board.
*If you submit something and then wish to remove it, simply let us know and we’ll do so.
